Privacy policy

Little Lingos runs live online English classes for children aged 3.5 to 15. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it and how we keep it safe. We collect as little as we can, we never sell your information, and there are no ads in our classes.
What we collect
- When you book a free demo class: your name, your WhatsApp number, your child's first name, your child's age group, your preferred day and time, your country and, if you give it, your email address.
- When you message us: what you send us on WhatsApp, Instagram or email.
- When your child attends classes: attendance, progress notes from the trainer, and class recordings.
- When you pay: the plan you chose and a record of your payment. Online payments are processed by Razorpay, who collect your card, UPI or bank details directly; we never see or store them. Razorpay shares your name, contact details and the payment status with us so we can confirm your plan, and handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
Why we use it
- To arrange the demo class, confirm the slot and send the class link.
- To place your child in the right stage and batch, and to share progress updates and reports with you.
- To answer your questions and manage your plan, payments and refunds.
- To check and improve teaching quality.
We only contact you about your child's classes. We do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Where it is kept
Booking details go to a private spreadsheet that only the Little Lingos team can open. We talk to families on WhatsApp, so your messages are also handled under WhatsApp's own privacy terms. Classes run on a video-call service, which processes the call while it happens.
Class recordings
Classes are recorded so we can check quality and so families can catch up on a missed class. Recordings are shared only with the families in that class, and only for 30 days.
Children's information
We collect children's details only from a parent or guardian, and only what we need to teach them. Children do not create accounts, and there is no public chat on our classes. A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete their child's information.
Our website
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit our website, which pages they view and how they found us, and the Meta Pixel to measure how well our Facebook and Instagram posts and ads bring families to the site. These tools use cookies and similar technology in your browser and collect information such as the pages you visit, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. They also record when a booking form is sent or a WhatsApp or Instagram button is tapped. They do not receive the names, phone numbers or other details you type into the booking form.
Google and Meta process this information under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
To show prices in your currency, the site also checks which country you are visiting from using your internet connection; we do not store that.
How long we keep it
We keep the details from the booking form for 5 days after you submit it, then delete them. If your child joins, we keep only what we need to run their classes, and only while they are enrolled.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you or your child, or to stop contacting you. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we respect the same rights for families in other countries.
